Engineering Design Partnership was first registered and commenced business in 1978. The practice originally comprised two partners – Keith Edwards and Robin Gregg.
Eddie Baker worked with the two original founders at Ian Wilkinson Partnership Practice. In 1982 Eddie joined them as a full partner. Keith and Robin retired from EDP in 2009, at which point Eddie took overall control of the practice.
The business expanded adding further blue chip, national and international clients, and was changed to a limited company in 2012, with Eddie Baker as Managing Director.

EDP has been maintained as a compact practice, ensuring that our clients’ projects are managed by senior and highly experienced engineers.
Every person employed by EDP has been known to me and I have been able to monitor their talents prior to engagement. Those invited to join the company have demonstrated abilities far above the industry standard. In effect, I “Headhunted” each and every one of them.
